Today's Special is from Scotland! This recipe is called Cranachan.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 double cream
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 cup Scottish raspberries
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/8 cup whiskey
Directions:
- Pour the sugar and the oats into the same bowl.
- Roast in your oven or under the grill until golden brown
- Leave it to cool
- Add the rest of the sugar to the cream and whip to a soft peak
- Add in the cooled oats and raspberries, reserving some of the raspberries for garnish and add as much whisky as you dare.
- Gently fold all together and spoon into glasses.
- Enjoy!
